Alpcot Agro AB (“Alpcot Agro”, “the Company”) presents its new cluster organisation and announces significant progress in the land registration of the Company’s Russian land assets. 

Alpcot Agro’s restructuring of the land bank is progressing. The Company is concentrating its crop production to four mega clusters in Russia and two clusters in Ukraine. The Company also has a centre for livestock in Voronezh in Russia. The Company is in negotiations regarding sale of land assets outside its identified mega clusters in Russia, which might materialise in the near future.

As of 31 December 2010 the Company controlled 188,700 hectares in Russia, an increase from 170,000 hectares per 31 December 2009, and 15,800 hectares in Ukraine, compared to 7,400 hectares per 31 December 2009. The split between the clusters are shown in the table below.

The Alpcot Agro group has also made significant progress in gaining direct control of the land assets in Russia, and the amount of directly registered land increased in 2010 from 23,600 hectares to 75,700 hectares as of 31 December 2010.
