Simon Hallqvist new Chairman of Alpcot Agro

Fredrik Langenskiöld, Chairman of the Board of Alpcot Agro, has informed the company that he resigns from his position as Director of the Board and Chairman for personal reasons. He will however remain in an advisory role to the company.

The board of Alpcot Agro has elected Simon Hallqvist as new Chairman, to lead the work of the Board up to the Annual General Meeting on 16 May, 2013. Simon Hallqvist has been a member of the board of Alpcot Agro since 2011 and is also a major shareholder in the company.

Simon Hallqvist comments:

"I am sorry that Fredrik has chosen to resign from his post before the end of his term, but I respect his decision. Fredrik has been a much appreciated chairman of Alpcot Agro and he has managed the work of the board in a very commendable way. Through his long experience of business in Russia and Ukraine, he has made very valuable contributions to the company’s development and strategic planning process."
