Ahlsell AB (publ) applies for de-listing and convenes an Extraordinary General Meeting

Quimper AB, which has been or will be indirectly invested in by CVC Funds (”Quimper”), declared the public offer for Ahlsell AB (publ) (“Ahlsell”) unconditional on 13 February 2019. Quimper controls more than 90 percent of the shares in Ahlsell and has requested compulsory redemption regarding the remaining shares in the company.

The Board of Directors of Ahlsell has, at the request of Quimper, today resolved to apply for de-listing of the company’s shares from Nasdaq Stockholm. The last day of trading in the company’s shares on Nasdaq Stockholm will be announced as soon as the company has received confirmation from Nasdaq Stockholm.

As requested by Quimper, the Board of Directors of Ahlsell has further today given notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 25 March 2019, for the purposes of, amongst other things, appointing a new board.
