Ahlsell acquires Kontram AS

Ahlsell Norge AS has entered into an agreement to purchase all shares in Kontram AS in Porsgrunn. Through the acquisition, Ahlsell strengthens its offering within the electrical segment in Norway.

Kontram offers high-quality products and solutions from well known brands within the electrical field to installers and industrial segments such as; power stations, public transport, shipping industry, offshore, etc.

Through the acquisition, Ahlsell gain access to a unique product portfolio, dense competence and ability to deliver complete solutions of high quality to small and large customers across Norway. Kontram was founded in 1996, and have11 employees with a turnover of 67 MNOK in 2023. They have an online store as well as office, store, and warehouse in Porsgrunn, with branch offices in Trondheim and Bergen.

Closing is expected to take place in September 2024.
