The acquisition of Bekken & Strøm approved by the Norwegian Competition Authority

In December, Ahlsell AS entered into an agreement to acquire Bekken & Strøm AS, a leading Norwegian supplier of workwear and personal protective equipment. The Norwegian Competition Authority has now approved the acquisition. Closing is expected in the beginning of February.

Bekken & Strøm is one of the largest suppliers in Norway in workwear, protective equipment, work shoes and profile clothing. The company's headquarters and central warehouses are located in Gjøvik and stores are located in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Kristiansand, Gjøvik, Sandefjord, Mo i Rana and Stryn. The company has annual sales of approximately 400 MNOK and approximately 160 employees.
