Ahlstrom-Munksjö has resolved on a dividend of EUR 0.13 per share

AHLSTROM-MUNKSJÖ OYJ, STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE September 30, 2020 at 14:50 EEST

The Board of Directors of Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj has today resolved on a dividend in the amount of EUR 0.13 per each outstanding share.

The dividend is based on the financial statements of the company for 2019 and  the decision by the Annual General Meeting held on March 25, 2020, which resolved on the payment of a dividend of EUR 0.52 per share to be paid in four instalments. The first instalment of EUR 0.13 was paid on April 3, 2020 and the second instalment of EUR 0.13 was paid on July 9, 2020.

The third instalment of the dividend will be paid to those shareholders who on the record date of the payment, October 2, 2020, are registered either in the shareholders’ register of Ahlstrom-Munksjö maintained by Euroclear Finland Ltd or in the register of shareholders maintained by Euroclear Sweden AB. The dividend payable for Euroclear Sweden AB registered shares will be forwarded by Euroclear Sweden AB. The payment date for the dividend is October 9, 2020.

The Board will resolve on the fourth instalment separately, scheduled for payment in January 2021.

On September 24, 2020, Spa Holdings 3 Oy announced a voluntary recommended public cash tender offer for all of the issued and outstanding shares in Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj with an offer price of EUR 18.10 per share, subject to certain adjustments. In accordance with such announcement, the offer price per share will be reduced on a euro-for-euro basis as a result of the EUR 0.13 dividend per share resolved on today. Following the adjustment of the offer price, the price offered for each share in the tender offer is EUR 17.97, subject to any further adjustments.
