All Munksjö's mills are now certified according to OHSAS 18001:2007

Munksjö's paper mill in Jönköping, Sweden, has been awarded with OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Now all of Munksjö's 12 production sites are certified according to this standard.

By adding the certification of the Jönköping mill Munksjö now worldwide adhere to the framework of effective safety management practices and this aligns strongly with our internal ethos of believing that zero accidents are possible,” comments Rune Årnes, Vice President Health and Safety.

“This certification is the result of our continuous work to give priority and dedication to provide a safe workplace where, employees, neither contractors nor visitors are exposed to unnecessary risks. In Jönköping, Munksjö produces electrotechnical paper, where Munksjö has a leading global position. The paper is used for insulation in the electric transmission and distribution industry. The mill has 128 employees and is part of the Business Area Industrial Applications. The mill is certified according to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
