AIFM Group announces collaboration with SIP Nordic Fondkommission.

Swedish fund management company AIFM Group (“AIFM”) has announced an exciting new collaboration with SIP Nordic Fondkommission. The first products of the collaboration will be two UCITS-funds, Aktiehuset Fond and Räntehuset Fond. The funds will be launched in early 2020 and will be followed by several more funds during the year.

Aktiehuset Fond is an actively managed equity fund that focuses on the Nordic region and invests at least 70% in shares and equity-related transferable securities. Räntehuset Fond is an actively managed fixed income fund investing mainly in European and US corporate bonds and other interest-bearing financial instruments with high creditworthiness.

The funds will be managed by AIFM Capital AB, a subsidiary of AIFM Group. AIFM will manage the fund under their authorization but will delegate portfolio management to SIP Nordic. AIFM will assume full regulatory responsibility for the product, while SIP Nordic will be responsible for the day-to-day trading and marketing of the fund. This structure will allow the first two funds’ portfolio manager, Per Thornadsson, to focus solely on investment processes while AIFM handles all reporting, compliance, risk management, and administrative duties.
