Aker Kvaerner supports BP project in Vietnam in safely achieving gas sales milestone
Since November 2002, Aker Kvaerner, in an alliance with the Petroleum Technical Services Company (PTSC) has provided operations and maintenance support services upstream for the Lan Tay offshore production platform, and midstream at the Dinh Co onshore gas processing plant, located 120 km south of Ho Chi Minh City.
This role is alongside the earlier supplies of the subsea production system for the Nam Con Son field, including trees, controls and subsea manifold. The Aker Kvaerner companies continue to support Nam Con Son long term for service and maintenance of the subsea systems.

Aker Kvaerner Australia has a long term contract to provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of the offshore platform and gas terminal. The project team is responsible for overall project management, detailed engineering, procurement of equipment and bulk materials plus construction management of regular works on the facilities. The alliance personnel are an integral part of the team at both the platform and the gas terminal and have been instrumental in ensuring safe and reliable support from local service providers.
