Aker Kvaerner wins evaporation plant order from Asia

9 November 2006 - Aker Kvaerner has received an order for the delivery of a large evaporation plant for a pulp mill in Asia.


Kvaerner Power, part of the Aker Kvaerner group, will supply an evaporation plant with a total capacity of 2,000 tons of evaporated water per hour. The project commences shortly and the evaporation plant will take approximately two years to be completed.


This new evaporation plant order follows the award to Kvaerner Power, announced on 2 October 2006, for the supply of a recovery boiler to the same pulp mill.
