Nils Arne Hatleskog (43) has been appointed executive vice president (EVP) for the new, reorganised business area uniting the two current business areas Field Development and Maintenance, Modifications and Operations.  Hatleskog begins in his new position Monday April 14th, leading the Field Development business area until the new structure and united business area is in place.

- It's with great pleasure I appoint Nils Arne Hatleskog to be the EVP for the new business area. His broad and strong experience from our business, excellent project execution skills and personal drive makes me certain he is the right man for the job, says Simen Lieungh, president and CEO of Aker Solutions.

Nils Arne Hatleskog comes from the position as senior vice president (SVP) for Construction and Supply Management in Aker Solutions' field development business. He has 20 years experience from Aker Solutions, including having been project director for Kårstø and Kashagan, as well as president for Aker Solutions' yard at Stord.

- I am looking forward to taking on the challenge of heading the new business area. I see a great potential, and I am confident our teams and projects will benefit from this streamlining. It will enable us to both drive our growth in the international markets and maintain our strong position in the North Sea. In order to achieve this, we must also maintain our continuous strong focus on executing our current project portfolio with excellence, delivering on our targets, says Hatleskog.

The reorganisation is conducted to streamline operations - to further sharpen the commercial edge and execution capability of Aker Solutions. The reorganisation combines current strengths and gives a leading engineering force, with enhanced flexibility to further optimise the company's services offering and capacity.

Nils Arne Hatleskog and his leadership will operate out of Stavanger and Oslo. He holds an engineering and business economist degree from Kongsberg engineering university in Norway.

The current EVP for Field Development Paal Helsing has been appointed SVP for Strategy and Technology, reporting to the president and CEO Simen Lieungh. EVP Torleif Gram will continue to lead the MMO business until the new structure and business area is in place, when Hatleskog assumes the leadership of the new business area. At that stage Torleif Gram will take on a special assignment as SVP, reporting to the president and CEO, Simen Lieungh. In this position Gram will drive improvement projects in Aker Solutions and contribute in the integration and implementation of the new joint business area of MMO/FD.
