"Getting closer to our clients and offering them better service was the main reason why we started looking for a partner in the region", says Jean Hébert, Vice President, Kvaerner Pulping Montreal.

The office in Montreal, Canada, is the base for Kvaerner Pulping's activities in North America, mainly focused on the growing service business.

"In Wyesco we found a highly skilled, experienced and service oriented partner. Their network will assist us in addressing our clients in the southern USA offering M.O.R.E.(TM), a service concept aiming to squeeze more uptime and efficiency out of our their pulp mills", says Jean Hébert.

For Wyesco, an important part of the agreement is the possibility to use Kvaerner Pulping OEM-parts (Original Equipment Manufacturing) when repairing pulp mill machinery such as feeders, top separators, etc.

"This is of considerable value to us since more and more of our clients are requiring OEM-supplies today. To be able to offer Kvaerner Pulping equipment, high quality products that in many ways have set the standard for the pulp and paper industry, is of course extremely satisfactory, both for us and our clients," says Clyde Dubois, President and CEO, Wyesco.
