Notice of Annual General Meeting 2011

6 April 2011 - Enclosed please find the Notice of Annual General Meeting in
Aker Solutions ASA ("Aker Solutions") on 6 May 2011 and the annual report 2010.

The Board of Directors of Aker Solutions has resolved to propose to the shareholders of Aker Solutions that Aker Solutions is to be demerged. In accordance with the proposed demerger, an Information Memorandum and a demerger plan is published in a separate stock exchange announcement.

The nomination committee`s work has not been concluded. Their recommendation
will be published at the Oslo Stock Exchange and the company`s homepage as soon
as it is available.
