Akelius adapts to new rent regulation, reducing staff by 58 in Berlin

Modernization of residential properties is no longer possible due to the new rent regulation in Berlin.
Akelius will reduce staff by 58 employees that have worked with construction related work, such as upgrading apartments and buildings.

It hurts to lay off highly competent and trusted colleagues.
I fear that our contractors will lay off additionally five hundred employees.
This is a sad day.
