Akelius plans to enter Ottawa
Akelius has decided to enter Ottawa, the capital of Canada.

Ottawa currently has 1.4 million inhabitants.
The population is expected to grow by ten percent until 2030.

The city’s economy is solid with the principal sectors being government, technology, and financial services.

Population and GDP growth exceed the national average.
The rent regulation in Ottawa is similar to the regulation in Toronto where Akelius already does business.

CEO, Ralf Spann:

- Ottawa offers attractive returns, steady growth, and limited long-term risks.
This reflects the development in our existent holdings in Toronto and Montreal.
