Aker ASA : Approved Prospectus

Reference is made to the previous announcements by Aker ASA (the "Company") regarding the resolution by the General Meeting on 17 April 2015 to distribute a dividend of NOK 10.00 per share and that each shareholder in the Company can choose to use half of the dividend to subscribe for new shares in the Company (the "Dividend Issue").

The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Nw. Finanstilsynet) has today approved the prospectus for the offering and listing of up to 2,310,189 new shares in the Company in the Dividend Issue. Further information will be published in due course.
