Aker ASA has appointed Nicoletta Giadrossi to work on the company's industrialportfolio, with particular focus on Aker Solutions. In connection with theannual general meeting to be held on 13 April 2012, Aker Solutions' nominationcommittee has proposed the appointment of Ms. Giadrossi to the company's boardof directors.Ms. Giadrossi (45) is VP&GM for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Dresser-RandGroup Inc., a leading equipment manufacturer for the oil and gas industry. Shehas a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Yale University and a MBA fromHarvard Business School. Ms. Giadrossi also has a background in the privateequity industry, as well as having held a number of leadership positions atGeneral Electric Co. Oil & Gas and Equipment Management. Nicoletta Giadrossi isan Italian citizen.
