Aker ASA: Mandatory notification of trade

On 11 September 2012, The Resource Group TRG AS, a company controlled by Aker ASA's Chairman Kjell Inge Røkke, purchased 58 540 shares in Aker ASA at a price of NOK 185 per share.

Following the transaction, The Resource Group TRG AS owns 883 182 shares in Aker ASA, corresponding to 1.2 per cent of the outstanding shares and votes in the company.

Consequently, Røkke controls, directly and indirectly, 49 128 230 shares in Aker ASA, corresponding to 67.9 per cent of the outstanding shares and votes in the company.

The Resource Group TRG AS plans to sell its newly-acquired shares in Aker ASA in conjunction with Aker ASA's buyback program, announced today. Røkke's direct and indirect shareholding will through this be reduced back to 67.8 per cent of the shares and votes in Aker ASA.
