Aker ASA: Mandatory notification of trade and disclosure of shareholding

Aker Capital AS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aker ASA (“Aker”) has today sold 8.5 million shares in Havfisk at a price of NOK 29.00 per share. After the transaction, Aker owns 53 501 793 shares in Havfisk, corresponding to approximately 63.2 per cent of the share capital in Havfisk.

"We remain positive to the whitefish industry fundamentals and have a strong belief in Havfisk’s growth going forward," says Aker’s President and CEO Øyvind Eriksen. "Aker will continue to be a long-term majority owner in the company and Havfisk will remain a core holding in our Industrial portfolio."

As a consequence of the transaction Aker has passed the threshold of 2/3 of the outstanding share capital in Havfisk, cf. The Securities Trading Act section 4-3 first paragraph.

Aker is represented on the Board of Directors of Havfisk by Frank O. Reite, the CFO of Aker, who acts as Chairman of the Board and Ola Snøve, Investment Director at Aker, who acts as a Board member.
