Aker ASA: Successful placement of bond issue

Reference is made to the notification sent earlier today regarding a potentialnew bond issue by Aker ASA.

The senior unsecured bond issue of NOK 500 million with expected maturity dateon January 30, 2019, has now been successfully completed. The offering wassignificantly oversubscribed.

Settlement date is expected to be January 30, 2012. An application will be madefor the bond to be listed on Oslo Børs.

Pareto Securities has acted as sole arranger of the bond issue.
