Report this content

Aker BP ASA (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has priced its offering (the “Offering”) of $750 million aggregate principal amount of 4.75% senior notes due 2024 at par (the “Notes”). The size of the offering has been increased from $500 million, indicated at launch on June 10, 2019, to $750 million.

Interest will be payable semi-annually. The Offering is expected to close on or about June 19, 2019, subject to customary conditions precedent for similar transactions. In connection with the Offering, the initial purchasers may engage in stabilizing transactions with a view to supporting the market price of the Notes at a level higher than that which might otherwise prevail. Any stabilization action must be conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and rules.

The Company intends to use the gross proceeds of the Offering to partially repay (without cancelling) drawn commitments under the Company’s revolving credit facility and to pay the costs, fees and expenses related to the Offering.
