Aker BP awarded six licenses in 24th licensing round
Aker BP has been offered interests in six new production licenses in Norway, of which two as operator, in the 24th licensing round. All the new licenses are located in the Barents Sea.

The 24th licensing round awards were announced by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on Monday 18 June 2018. In total, 12 licenses were offered to a total of 11 companies. For more details on the awards, please see the attached files from the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
