Det norske oljeselskap ASA: Closing of BP Norge Transaction; Registration of New Company Name

Det norske oljeselskap ASA (the “Company”) has in connection with the acquisition of BP Norge AS changed its name to Aker BP ASA.

The change of name has today been registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises (Nw. Foretaksregisteret).

From and including 3 October 2016, the Company’s shares will trade under the new name Aker BP ASA and the new ticker symbol “AKERBP” on Oslo Børs. The Company’s ISIN NO0010345853 will remain unchanged.
