Marit Blaasmo new SVP for Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality

Marit Blaasmo will succeed Jorunn Kvåle as SVP for Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality. She will take a seat in the Executive Management Team (EMT) and will report to CEO Karl Johnny Hersvik.

Marit Blaasmo has a broad experience from multiple roles within Drilling & Wells from both Baker Hughes INTEQ and Equinor. She joined Aker BP in 2017, where she has been responsible for D&W performance and improvement agenda. She holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Jorunn Kvåle will take on the position as VP Valhall New Operating Strategy and will be a part of the asset management team of Per Mikal Hauge, focusing on strategic development of the Valhall field.

The changes will take place as from 1 May 2019.
