Aker Solutions ASA: Buy-Back of Own Shares and Allocation Under Incentive Programs

May 20, 2021 – Aker Solutions ASA (“Aker Solutions”) announced in the stock exchange release of May 6, 2021, that shares would be allocated to eligible participants under two incentive programs established for executives and senior managers of Kværner ASA (“Kvaerner”) and that a broker firm would acquire such shares in advance in the open market.

DNB, acting under an irrevocable mandate from Aker Solutions, has acquired a total of 1,000,000 shares. The shares were purchased at an average price of NOK 14.5548 per share, as follows:

  • May 14, 2021: 250,000 shares at a weighted average price of NOK 14,4336
  • May 18, 2021: 250,000 shares at a weighted average price of NOK 15,0832
  • May 19, 2021: 250,000 shares at a weighted average price of NOK 14,5394
  • May 20, 2021: 250,000 shares at a weighted average price of NOK 14,1629

A detailed overview of all transactions made under the buyback program is attached. DNB will continue the buyback for 572,919 additional shares bringing the total number of shares to be acquired under the mandate to 1,572,919 shares.

Aker Solutions has today allocated a total of 466,249 shares to eligible participants under one of the said incentive programs. The shares were allocated at a price per share of NOK 14.4971 which equals the volume-weighted average price of the Aker Solutions ASA share on May 19, 2021.

Following these transactions, Aker Solutions ASA has a holding of 635,387 own shares.
