Moody’s affirms Aktia Bank’s ratings but revises outlook to negative (stable)
Moody's motivates the change of outlook by the fact that the significance of Aktia Bank in the Finnish banking system decreases following Aktia's decision to refine operations and focus on the bank's own customers, on a longer term terminating its services as central credit institution for the savings banks and POP Banks.
Moody's does not change its view of Aktia Banks own operations.
Moody's has stated that Aktia Banks has a strong balance sheet and low risk profile, and that both the capital adequacy ratio and the liquidity position are good.
Moody's rating for Aktia Bank is A3 for long-term borrowing (unchanged), P-2 for short-term borrowing (unchanged) and C- for financial strength (unchanged). All ratings have a negative (stable) outlook .
