Moody’s has placed Aktia Bank Plc’s A1/P-1/C ratings on review for downgrade

Moody's Investors Service has today placed on review for downgrade Aktia Bank’s standalone bank financial strength rating (BFSR)  of C (mapping to A3 on the long-term scale), the A1 long-term debt and deposit ratings and the Prime-1 short-term debt and deposit ratings.

The review is based on Moody’s expectations on the banks future outlook.

The rating agency expects to be able to finalise the review when the bank has reported its full-year 2011.
