Aktia raises its prime rate to 3.25 per cent as of 23 August 2006


Aktia Savings Bank plc raises its prime rate by 0.25 percentage points to 3.25
per cent due to increase in overall market rates, a better economic climate in
Europe, and still higher inflation expectations. The new rate will apply from 23
August 2006.
