Conversion of Aktia's convertible bond 1994

The 1994 convertible bond of Aktia Savings Bank Plc has been converted to a total
of 40,000 new shares.

The increase in share capital, amounting to 80,000 euro, from the present
70,516,100 euro to 70,596,100 euro, will be entered in the Trade Register in the
beginning of 2005.
