CHESAPEAKE BAY BEACH CLUB ANNUAL BRIDAL SHOW UNVEILS NEW WATERFRONT EVENT VENUE
The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club presents its 11th Annual Waterfront Bridal Show on Saturday, January 7th, 2012. A known leader in the Maryland and Washington, DC Bridal Show circuit for innovative and well-attended bridal events, the Beach Club plans to unveil its new waterfront meetings and event space and usher Brides into the New Year during this years celebration.
The Beach Club has established its reputation as the area’s most popular venue for extraordinary waterfront weddings. Erin Janes, Wedding and Events Director, says, “Every year we take pride in showing off our beautiful and unique venue to brides, their friends and families while providing an opportunity for them to meet the area’s best resources for wedding event planning. This year we are excited for them to see our latest event space ideal for winter weddings.”
For eleven years, newly engaged brides desiring a very special waterfront location for their weddings have attended the Beach Club’s Bridal Show to see the venue at its “wedding best”. With the gorgeous location on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, the venue’s long-standing reputation for outstanding personal service and excellent cuisine, the Beach Club remains Maryland’s premier location for waterfront wedding ceremonies, receptions and events.
The Beach Club’s outstanding events team, along with many of the area’s leading wedding vendors transform each waterfront ballroom into a different wedding theme, introducing the latest wedding trends, products and styles. This year’s bridal show attendees will experience each ballroom interactively, gathering creative ideas, visiting with the vendors who helped create these dynamic displays, while sampling tasty food and beverage selections. This year instead of hosting a runway fashion show, each venue will feature a different bridal boutique with strolling models amongst attendees so that they can get a closer look at the gowns, accessories, trendy up do’s and makeup. “The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club...Absolute Entertainment’s home away from home! This is the bridal event we look forward to all year. Amazing couples, gorgeous venue and the best staff in the business!,” says Jason Wallace of Absolute Entertainment, a long time vendor at the Bridal Show.
Also new to the Bridal Show this year is the ‘Breezeway’, the newest addition to the collection of unique event spaces at the Club. Primarily used for corporate meetings and seminars, featuring state of the art audio/visual equipment, the Breezeway’s décor allows an easy transformation into a quaint and cozy ceremonial site. “We are making a special effort to highlight this fabulous new space for 2012. The Breezeway offers an additional ceremony site within the Beach House to host winter wedding ceremonies in an intimate Chesapeake Bay setting. Your guests may be greeted with hot chocolate or mulled cider and warm themselves by one of the fireplaces just before or after your ceremony,” says Teresa Hunter, Wedding and Events Manager.
The Annual Waterfront Bridal Show takes place on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 from noon to 5pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
