Farewell To Summer Celebration to introduce completed beachfront enhancement, Chesapeake Beach, Maryland

The Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa today announces plans for it’s annual Labor Day Weekend Farewell to Summer Celebration which will incorporate their new beachfront venue into the six-day event. Located on the Chesapeake Bay, the Resort’s new beachfront has been enhanced with tons of beautiful white sand, new beach lounge furniture and a dance floor on the beach. The new area is situated between the Boardwalk Café and the Band Shell performance stage to provide more beach area for hotel guests to enjoy during their stay and for outdoor dancing and dining.
Many events during the Resort’s Labor Day Weekend Farewell to Summer Celebration will occur in the new venue area. The entire event occurs over Labor Day weekend, and will include daily live music with dancing on the beach, dining specials in all three of the Resort’s waterfront restaurants, gaming specials plus indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family. Visitors to the Resort for the event can come for a day or take advantage of the special room rates offered to stay overnight. “We have been hard at work to improve our beach area to be able to provide more waterfront activities for our guests,” says Resort Vice President Wesley Donovan. “We are excited to debut the new venue during our upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend celebration.”
