Alfa Laval completes acquisition of Packinox

Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has today completed the acquisition of Packinox S.A. in France. Packinox is a world leader in large welded plate heat exchangers for Oil & Gas and Refinery applications, with an expected sales of about MSEK 450 in 2005 and with approximately 145 employees within R&D, manufacturing and sales. Packinox S.A., with headquarters in Paris and manufacturing unit in Chalon-sur-Saône in France, is active on the global market with own sales offices in the US, Russia and China. Its reputation is built upon 20 years’ experience and a large installed base all over the world. Packinox will be consolidated in Alfa Laval as of January 1 2005.
