Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has received an order for heat exchangers and seawater filters to a Latin American petrochemical company. The order value is approximately SEK 50 million. Delivery will take place during 2008.

The order marks the continuation of a positive trend for Alfa Laval in Latin America, where order intake during the first half of 2007 increased with more than 60 percent.
”Future prospects for Latin America look very promising”, says Lars Renström, President and CEO of Alfa Laval. ”GNP is expected to increase by 5 percent in 2007 and growth is likely to continue during 2008.”
”With our strong presence in the region, a large installed base of equipment and an established position in vital areas like energy and food supply, Alfa Laval looks forward to a continued strong development in Latin America.”
The order comprises heat exchangers and filters used to cool an ammonia-to-urea conversion process with seawater as cooling media.

Did you know that Alfa Laval has its own sales and service companies in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela, as well as agents and distributors in most other Latin American countries?
