Jan came from the ABB Group, where he was the Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of the Americas. He came with more than 20 years of financial leadership experience from ABB, including areas such as public company financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and financial planning and analysis.
Early April Frank Bolata took up the position as Alfa Laval’s Chief Information Officer. Frank combines a solid IT experience with a strong business drive. His most recent position was with Baxter International Inc, where he spent five years as Vice President IT. Prior to this he held positions with companies such as Electrolux and Kraft Foods.
Early August, Pascale Gimenez joined Alfa Laval as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, and also as a member of the company’s Group Management. Pascale combines a strong business focus with a solid HR experience. She spent the last ten years in Electrolux, in different senior HR positions. Her most recent position was as Senior Vice President HR & Organization, for one of the biggest business areas in Electrolux; Major Appliances EMEA. Her experiences prior to Electrolux, comprises other well-known companies, such as Sandvik and Unilever.
The most recent appointment is to a partly new position as Head of Group Treasury & Insurance, a position which Henrik G. Welch will take on, in December. Henrik has a solid experience from finance as well as from working in an international environment. He has held various managerial positions over the past 20 years, most recently as Vice President, Head of Group Treasury at SSAB and before that in a similar position at Vestas Wind Systems.
“To support and live the new strategic direction for Alfa Laval, created in 2016, a new organization was simultaneously developed with a focus and priority to get the business dimension right”, says Tom Erixon, Alfa Laval’s president and CEO. “We also said that we selectively and stepwise would update and renew our capabilities in the business support structure, building upon the existing strength. I am very pleased with the additional experience and competencies that have joined and are about to join the team.”
