Alfa Laval wins SEK 165 million brewery order in Brazil
Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has won an order to supply equipment to a major brewery in Brazil. The order, booked in the Food Technology segment, has a value of approximately SEK 165 million and delivery is scheduled to start in 2014 and be finalized in 2015.
Alfa Laval will supply valves, pumps and heat exchangers to a process including fermentation, maturation, cooling, filtration, blending and storage.
“The order confirms the good development we see in the brewery business, where especially Brazil has developed well,” says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
