Alfa Laval wins SEK 60 million power order in Germany
Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has received an order in Germany for oil treatment modules to a big diesel power plant project. The order value is about SEK 60 million and delivery is scheduled for 2012.
The customized oil-treatment module for the German diesel engine builder ”MAN Diesel & Turbo SE” includes various Alfa Laval products; Alfa Laval filters remove fine particles from the oil to ensure a smooth and trouble-free engine operation, Alfa Laval separators remove residues and water from the heavy fuel oil and finally Alfa Laval heat exchangers heat up the fuel to maintain the required viscosity, before it enters the engine.
