The Alfa Laval Group acquires Tranter’s distributor in China

The Alfa Laval Group – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has acquired 100% of the shares in Tranter’s distributor in China. The company, which only sells Tranter’s products, has a turnover of approximately SEK 100 million and has some 100 employees in assembly, sales and service.
One of the Alfa Laval Group’s overall strategies is to further increase its presence in China. As a consequence of the strategy the acquisition of the Chinese distributor of Tranter’s products was made.
The consolidation of the company is awaiting authority approval and closing of the transaction is expected very early 2007.
Alfa Laval acquired Tranter as of March 1, 2006 from Dover Corporation.
