In addition to the large volume programme order in November 2018, Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. has placed an additional order with Alimak Group for construction hoists with a value of approximately MSEK 31.

Bigge already owns the largest Alimak rental fleet in the world. With this order, Bigge will have purchased over 100 units from Alimak Group in a single year, another milestone for both Bigge and Alimak.

The order will be booked in the second quarter of 2019 in Alimak Group’s business area Construction Equipment and delivery is expected to take place in the second half of the year.

“I am very pleased to announce this additional order following the record order we received from Bigge at the end of 2018. This is further proof of our great partnership with Bigge and of the demand for our market leading vertical access solutions for the construction sector”, says Tormod Gunleiksrud, CEO Alimak Group.

“Alimak Construction hoists are important assets in Bigge’s Perfect Fleet (SM). The combination of safety, high uptime and low cost of ownership make the Alimak best in class. We are proud to have the largest and newest Alimak construction hoist rental fleet in the world,” says Weston Settlemier, CEO, Bigge Crane and Rigging Co.
