Season 4 Finale of hit reality cooking show airs on November 15th; winners of past three seasons hope to create culinary works of art in dessert round using secret Mariani Packing dried fruit to win title of All Star Champion

(Pompano Beach, FL – CISION – November 13, 2013) With food, sweat, and jeers, it’s a race against the clock as the student chefs create their final culinary masterpieces in the dessert round using a Mariani® Packing Co. Inc. dried fruit ingredient in the cooking competition show All Mixed Up™. Tune in to the Finale of the All Star edition from the producers of Designing Spaces™ on Friday, November 15th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) airing on Lifetime TV to see who emerges from the heat of the kitchen to win the title of All Star Champion.

For three seasons, All Mixed Up™ challenged three culinary students in the kitchen as they sliced, diced, mixed and cooked up ingredients from America’s favorite brands to create three appetizers, entrées and desserts. Season 4 Holiday All Star edition brings a unique twist to the table – the All Mixed Up Champions from each season have returned to dish up original recipes in the most intense competition yet.

In this week’s dessert round, the three competing chefs look for inspiration in their kitchen gallery to create their mouth-watering desserts using a Mariani Packing dried fruit ingredient as their canvas; a part of the picture that will be revealed just before Round 3 begins.

Which of the Mariani Packing dried fruits will be the secret ingredient in the culinary dishes the student chefs create? Mediterrean Apricots, Cranberries, Mixed Fruit, Philippine Mangos or one of their other products? And how will the chefs use it in their desserts?

With only 30 minutes to create their masterpieces, the chefs rush around the kitchen to beat the clock. Dee Lennox, Chef and culinary educator, takes center stage and gives fair critique of the would-be works of art and makes sure the dried fruit from Mariani Packing gets all mixed up into their dessert course dish in a way that will give them rave reviews.

Will Dee draw a bright picture as the students unveil their entrées? Will she award them a possible 10 stars for taste, originality and artistic presentation?

With the stroke of his hand, Celebrity chef and TV personality Ralph Pagano paints an ever-changing scene for the aspiring chefs as he creates new twists and challenges for them against the backdrop of the kitchen. Who will wield the knife as easily as a brush and which two student chefs will act like oil and water?

Tune in to find out on Friday, November 15th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) on All Mixed Up™ on Lifetime Television. In case you missed the last two episodes, please watch at: www.allmixedup.tv.
