Allan Brothers’ timber windows meet new EU Construction Product Regulation
Specialist timber window and door manufacturer Allan Brothers has fulfilled the CE Marking requirements for its full range of products, ensuring it meets strict new European legislation.
All products manufactured by Allan Brothers, including timber sash windows and casement windows, will now display a CE mark to prove they comply with the EU Construction Product Regulation (CPR) which came into force on Monday 1stJuly.
Under the CPR, Allan Brothers has to apply CE markings to all complete products to confirm they meet legal requirements in specific European technical standards. It also means they can be placed on the market in any European member state.
Allan Brothers has also made Declaration of Performance (DoP) documents available on its website. These provide information about the essential characteristics of the product and can be downloaded from www.allanbrothers.co.uk/dop
