Alleima appoints new President of Kanthal division

Alleima has appointed Robert Stål as President of Kanthal division and new member of the Alleima Group Executive Management, effective latest May 22, 2023. He succeeds Anders Björklund, who as previously announced, is leaving Alleima for a position outside the company. Robert Stål is currently CEO of Dafo Vehicle Fire Protection AB.

“Robert Stål is an experienced leader with a strong operational and commercial background. He has proven great performance management and execution skills during his previous assignments at Alleima. I am convinced that he will be a very good fit as President for Kanthal and a great addition to the Group Executive Management,” says Göran Björkman, President and CEO of Alleima.
 

Robert Stål was born in 1983 and has since 2012 held various senior positions within Alleima, formerly Sandvik Materials Technology. Before becoming CEO of Dafo Vehicle Fire Protection AB in March 2022, he was President of Business Unit EMEA within the Tube division at Alleima. Previous positions also include several different Sales and Marketing, and Product Manager roles within Alleima.

Anders Björklund will leave the company on December 31, 2022. An interim solution for the time until Robert Stål starts his position is currently under development.
