Allgon receives order for Marine Antennas for ICO Satellite Communications System Allgon has signed a contract with Nera SatCom AS for supply of Marine Antennas for the ICO Satellite Communications System. Shipments will start second half of year 2000. - This order is important for Allgon, as it positions us as a strategic supplier for the ICO Satellite Communications System, says Jan Edhäll, President and CEO of Allgon - As Allgon already have orders for antennas for the Iridium, Globalstar and Thuraya Satellite Communications Systems, this confirms our position as a major player in the satellite terminal antenna market, he adds. The order is initially for 10 MSEK. Deliveries will start during the second half of year 2000. Nera is one of the major suppliers of terminal handsets and peripheral equipment for the ICO Satellite Communications System, which is planned to be launched the middle of year 2000.
