Allgon starts production of base station antennas in China Allgon has decided to start production of base station antennas in China. The production is expected to be up and running towards the end of 1999. - China is on of the largest mobile telecommunication markets in the world with a very large potential. Local production is necessary in order to successfully compete on this market and to support our global customers, says Jan Edhäll, President and CEO of Allgon. Allgon will be established in an industrial park in the telecom belt between Shanghai and Nanjing. The production will initially employ around 20 persons.
