Allgon to supply radio coverage solution for Telenor headquarters Norway´s leading mobile service provider Telenor Mobil AS has appointed Allgon Systems to supply an indoor radio coverage solution at the new headquarters in Fornebu, close to Oslo. The GSM-based indoor coverage solution will provide the platform of all future headquarters tele- communications. Allgon Systems will provide Telenor Mobil AS with an indoor radio coverage solution to the new headquarters - one of the largest office blocks in Scandinavia, hosting more than 6 000 employees. Allgon Systems' new wireless office solution will provide a single platform for all fixed and wireless telecommunications, for both internal and external use, making fixed office telephones redundant. Initially, the new Telenor office solution will be used for traffic in the GSM 900- and 1800 MHz bands. However, characterized by flexibility, Allgon Systems' high quality repeater based radio coverage solution can easily be adopted for use of different cellular technologies, including future 3G-technologies. Also, Allgon Systems´ repeater based solution can be used to manage parallel traffic from different mobile operators.
