European UMTS order to Allgon Systems Allgon Systems has been appointed to supply UMTS repeaters for a European UMTS wireless network. The agreement strengthens Allgon's position as a leading supplier of radio-based coverage solutions for second and third generation wireless network. Allgon Systems will supply a European network operator with repeaters for its third generation wireless network. Allgon Systems repeater based solutions cost-effectively complement the network operator's existing base stations by extending radio coverage in challenging radio environments such as road tunnels and mountainous areas. Allgon's repeaters are standardized according to the international standardization committee 3GPP's conformance specifications. -The order is the result from a long term co-operation with the European operator foremost within repeater based coverage solutions for GSM networks.
