Wireless Solutions - launches 11Mbit WLAN in Atlanta Today at the Networld&Interop Exhibition Wireless Solutions Sweden AB, a business area within the Allgon-group, announced the new 11Mbit/s Wireless-LAN product family for OEM manufactures. The product line includes PC-Card, Access Point, USB Adapter, Printer Adapter, and Wireless Web-Camera, based on the IEEE 802.11b standard. "Our main focus in developing this family has been to make an entire office environment wireless, not only the portable PC, but all devices you normally find in an office. By using our USB Adapter the desktop computer can easily be connected to a wireless infrastructure by the end user without having a skilled technician to do an installation, says Pär Bergsten, President of Wireless Solutions Sweden AB. " The Printer Adapter and the Wireless Web-Camera are unique products for us where our engineering expertise have integrated the hardware and software into a cost-effective small package", he continues. The products will be shipped to OEM customers in Europe and the US in October. The launch of the above mentioned products will take place at the Networld&Interop Exhibition where Wireless Solutions Sweden AB is participating together with WECA, the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance.
