Allianz Global Assistance Announces the Premiere of New Web Series "The Layovers," Starring Travel Experts Lee Abbamonte + Johnny Jet
Allianz Global Assistance, a leading provider of travel insurance, is pleased to present the first episode of a new travel web series, The Layovers. Featuring travel influencers Lee Abbamonte and Johnny Jet, the series takes viewers along for a lighthearted, comedic ride as these travel experts offer their tips on seeing a destination over a short or overnight layover, with the first episode kicking off in Los Angeles, California.
“I’ve visited Los Angeles hundreds of times, and Johnny’s lived there for more than 20 years, so it was the perfect first location for this series,” says Lee Abbamonte. Adds Johnny Jet, “Southern California is where I lay my head and is also one of the world’s premiere travel destinations. I’m very proud to help showcase a region that has so much to offer.”
Highlights of the first episode include Manhattan Beach, where Johnny lives, helicopter rides over downtown Los Angeles and tips on how to view the iconic Hollywood sign, among other recommendations.
