Henrico-based specialty insurance and assistance company’s rebranding focuses on global reputation of helping and protecting travelers
Henrico, Va., July 12, 2018 – Allianz Worldwide Partners, a leading provider of consumer travel and specialty insurance with its U.S. headquarters based in Henrico, Virginia, announced a name change today that simplifies the company name to Allianz Partners.

The company has been operating in the U.S. for nearly 35 years, where today it sells insurance coverage to more than 35 million people annually, primarily with its well-known Allianz Travel Insurance** and event ticket protection plans. While the new name is only being used in the Richmond area now, the company will continue to sell and service insurance policies under the Allianz Global Assistance brand until a later transition date. Its Henrico headquarters located in the Deep Run Office Park currently employs nearly 800 associates and is currently hiring for analysts and customer service representatives.
