New York City and London are this year’s most popular domestic and international destinations for Christmas travel amongst Americans, according to Allianz Global Assistance’s Top 10 Holiday Destinations Report.
Allianz Global Assistance reviewed nearly one million plans made by Americans for travel during Christmas (12/20/2016 – 12/28/2016). According to the report, the most popular destination for the Christmas holiday is New York City. The top 10 Christmas destinations in the U.S. are New York City, Los Angeles, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, San Francisco, Honolulu, Boston, Denver, Miami and Newark.
Internationally, the American traveler is heading to London for Christmas followed by San Juan, Cancun, Tokyo, Paris, Santiago, Puerto Vallarta, Manila, Santo Domingo and Bangkok.
