ALMA CONSUMER COMPANIES ALMA MEDIA KUSTANNUS OY AND ALMA MEDIA SUOMI OY STATUTORY PERSONNEL NEGOTIATIONS CONCLUDED
Alma Media Kustannus Oy and Alma Media Suomi Oy statutory personnel negotiations have been concluded. The negotiations were related to reorganisation plans, published in March 2018, to combine the Alma News & Life business segment and the Alma Regions business segment as Alma Consumer segment.
The reorganisation will reduce the amount of work by eight person-years. The reductions will be implemented without any lay-offs through severance packages or relocation. The scope of the negotiations was approximately 120 people.
In Alma Media Kustannus Oy, the negotiations concerned advertising sales, advertising production, marketing and administration. In Alma Media Suomi Oy, the negotiations concerned marketing and consumer services as well as administration. In the Alma Media Solutions unit, the negotiations concerned product development, marketing and ad operations. The companies concerned employ approximately 660 persons. The negotiations did not concern Alma Consumer's editorial staff and Alma Manu Oy, which focuses on printing and deliveries.
